Transition / school readiness programs:

Sarah has extensive experience in working within schools and in a consultation role to pre-school, primary and secondary schools. Leap into Learning can provide short-term consultation or ongoing support to individual children or specific classrooms.  

One on one tutoring support implemented in an ASD friendly teaching can be faciliatated in order to target academic, social – communication and self help skills.   

Leap into learning can also deliver general social skill programs for school aged children to extend thier ability to engage in greetings, basic conversation skills, negotiation, attending to group, joint attention, compromise, behavioural control, topical conversation, turn-taking, staying on task, self-monitoring, observational Learning, playing by the rules, social inference, making and keeping friends, listening to peers, assertiveness and conviction, tolerance, responding to peers, play initiation, recognising disinterest in others and co-operative Skills.
